Monty Carlo: MONACO This Morning, MONZA This Afternoon

Before I set off home I just had to visit the Casino and a few sights at Monaco.
In daytime this would involve hundreds of people, but at 0625 in the morning, well, you decide:

Then it was time for a quick car wash to make me look refreshed:

Nice and clean ready for Monza

I drove out through Menton and didn't realise how many bridges and viaducts I would cross.
This is the first one, and you have to go zig zag up the hill to get to it.......
Every one is a surprise of the engineering required to build these bridges.
Make no wonder Italy is SKINT though.

A7 over Menton

then off north-bound to Monza along the A7 to Genoa, and the A51 & A52 to Milano and Monza.
Overtook this one en route. French registered heading INTO Italy......

The kitchen sink MUST be under there somewhere!!!!!

It was pretty warm out there too!!!!!!!!

I wanted to go to Monza. You can drive around the circuit just by arriving and paying 45 Euro.....
But not this week as the circuit is being resurfaced. Had to make do with these instead....
